Setelah membaca salah satu artikel dari Smashing Magazine dengan judul “Showcase Of Beautiful Sports Websites“, aku akhirnya terinspirasi dengan beberapa hal dalam mendesain website atau blog, khususnya blog sepak bola nasional Ongisnade.net, kebetulan segmentasi yang dibahas sama, olah raga. Sebelumnya, aku terlalu saklek dengan model desain situs-situs sepak bola Eropa, seperti Liga Inggris dan UEFA. Sekarang, aku mulai mengalihkan konsep desain menuju American style, khususnya situs klub-klub NFL (American football, bukan soccer).
Di atas adalah beberapa contoh tampilan website klub-klub American Football, terkesan lebih ramai, lebih “berani” untuk urusan desan, warna, dan penggunaan font maupun animasi, setidaknya bila dibandingkan situs klub-klub sepak bola Eropa, khususnya Inggris.
Sedikit banyak, beberapa hal sudah dan akan aku terapkan di Ongisnade.net, mulai header, background, font, image slide, dan beberapa fitur lainnya.
Berikut tampilan Ongisnade.net setelah aku makeover beberapa bagian dan akan terus dikembangkan.
Tidak mudah memang mengikuti trend dan inspirasi dari website American Football, tapi setidaknya menambah wawasan dan gambaran baru dalam mendesain website atau blog, dari pada menjiplak desain website atau blog rekan senegara atau teman sendiri (pengalaman bolak-balik dijiplak) hehehe…. >.<
